Preceding you, were many colorful men and women who turned dusty grazing land into one of Los Angeles County's most vital industrial, commercial and residential centers. By becoming a member of the Torrance Historical Society, you will learn more about the people, politics and events that shaped this community. Museum . . . Museum Hours The Museum is closed on the weekends of Mother's Day and Father's Day, and the holiday weekends of Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and the week of Christmas through New Year's Day, unless a special event is scheduled. Please call the Museum to verify hours. Special hours can be arranged for private tours or research. Please contact the Museum directly at (310) 328-5392.
