This is the Second late night Thursday in the amazing line up for August 2025…
The Naval Annex was used as an auxiliary storage facility for the Long Beach Naval Station. When the Navy announced plans to close the base as of June 1974, the City of Torrance began its active pursuit of the property.
You are invited to stop by to learn more. Late-Night Thursdays’ at the Museum are during the month of August. The Museum will be open from 4:00pm – 7:00pm and treats will be served each Thursday as you get a chance to visit with volunteer historians – Paul Wiseman, LeRoy Jackson, and Mike the Map Man. They will share ephemera, photos, stories, maps and more!
