Visit With A Veteran
November 8 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free
Veterans Day is an important day for showing appreciation to members of our military–a celebration to honor America’s Veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.
The Torrance Historical Society invites you, your family, and friends to join them in honoring our veterans. Pull up a chair and visit with a Veteran: World War II, Korean War, Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
“Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory.” — George S. Patton
